St. Teresa Adoration at the 4 O’Clock Hour ~

Moms, Children & Families Welcome

The 4-5 pm hour of adoration each Wednesday may look a little different from what some may be used to. A mother of four has committed to pray with our Lord for that hour each week and she will be bringing her children along – after all, Jesus says “let the children come to me”! Moms and dads desire adoration too, but often don’t feel like they can go because they might disturb other people. This 4 o’clock hour will allow for this to happen as we welcome moms, dads, our youngest adorers, and anyone who wants to be a part of this beautiful intergenerational witness

of faith! Additional Adorers are Welcome Each Hour from 9am - 8pm at St. Teresa on Wednesdays. No sign up is necessary - the church is open and Jesus is waiting for you to simply come! But, if you would like to commit to an hour each week, please call the parish office 812-537-3992 or email

News From our MyParish App Provider:

The phone number carrier for the shortcode phone number 88202, which has been used for easy text-to-join, has discontinued the number. The new number to text to join MyParish App is 55321, after texting the word app.

How does this affect you?

  1. You can now text the word APP to number 55321 to get a link to download the app. (NOTE: The OLD 88202 number no longer works.)

  2. There is no impact on other methods of downloading the app. Parishioners may still scan the QR code, visit the App Store, or ONLY TEXTING has been impacted.

Our priests have a busy schedule for May and June - busier than usual if you can imagine that! We wanted to let you know who will be saying Masses, since it will not follow the regular schedule of every other weekend.

St. Teresa Office Facilities News

We Welcome Whole Hearts Psychology to Our Campus!

A friendly reminder to anyone using the office building space at St. Teresa for meetings or gatherings: Whole Hearts Psychology is now the only use for the entire first floor office space.  For the privacy and confidentiality of Dr. Molitor and his patients, all others accessing the building are to enter through the meeting room side door or the lower level basement door.  Additionally, the only restrooms that are accessible to groups using the office space are located in the lower level.  Thank you for paying attention to these most important details as we welcome Whole Hearts Psychology to Dearborn County.

Join Our Ministry: Breaking Bread - Saturday Mornings ~ 8am - 9am @St. Lawrence, Breaking Bread is our free community breakfast which we celebrate and enjoy every Saturday morning from 8-9 a.m. We usually have around 15 guests and 10 or so servers and we gather in the lower level of the church. We pray and eat together. We have conversations and laugh and cry together. It is short but very, very sweet. It soothes the soul and starts the weekend off with giving and sharing. Would you like to be part of this? We are in need of a few more servers and always welcome anyone who wants to attend, whether you cook and bring food or just come for community and a meal! Please contact Eileen Keller (812-655-3304 or for more information or to volunteer. If you would rather just show up to see what it is like, that is a great way to get started!

Military Appreciation Project (MAP)
All four Dearborn County Catholic Parishes are starting a new ministry to help our military members feel connected and appreciated by their parish. These men and women leave their home and community and are stationed all over the map. Michaela Spangler, a parish member of All Saints and Senior at EC, is starting MAP Ministry to send care packages for birthdays and holidays to the active duty military of our parishes as part of her Gold Award for Girl Scouts. We want our active military men and women to know that their home parish has not forgotten them, and that we appreciate their sacrifice and dedication to our country. There are three components to get this new ministry opportunity off the ground:1. If you have a son or daughter who is currently serving in the military, we would like to know so that we can include them. Please send an email to We are also accepting monetary donations to go towards this project. All donations can be sent to the Parish Office. Please specify that the donation is for MAP.3. Michaela is getting this ministry off the ground but new volunteers will be needed to continue it once she goes away to college. Please pray about getting involved and email if you would like to help continue her efforts.

Fr. Meyer joined Marc Tuttle and Kent Blandford on Indy Catholic Radio for a look at the ever changing role of men in parish and family life in anticipation of the E6 Catholic Men's Conference. Here is a link to the podcast.
