What is RCIA?
Each year on Holy Saturday during the Easter Vigil, thousands are baptized into the Catholic Church in the United States. Parishes welcome these new Catholics through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). How Does RCIA Work at Our Parishes?
With the newly formed pastoral arrangement of Fr. Mahan and Fr. Meyer ministering in solidum to all people in Dearborn County, we will be meeting as one group this year with interested participants from all four parishes – St. Lawrence, St. Mary’s, St. Teresa, and All Saints.
Weekly Thursday evening classes will meet September – April, 6:30pm-8:00pm, at St. Lawrence.
Adults at all stages of their faith journey are welcome:
† Curious about the Catholic Church
† Interested in becoming a Catholic
† Desiring to return to the Catholic Church
† Desiring to deepen understanding of Catholic theology
† Who are non-Catholic spouses
† Who have not been confirmed
Participants are encouraged to attend all meetings but if a lesson is missed, previously recorded topical discussions can be found by clicking HERE.
Please call the parish office at 812-537-3992 or contact our RCIA Coordinator, Cindy White email@example.com for more information.
